ADMINISTRATION & COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT
TITLE: Administration and Communications Assistant
ORGANISATION OVERVIEW:
Boardmatch is the only Irish charity that specialises in
not-for-profit board recruitment. We connect individuals who are
interested in volunteering their skills with organisations that have
board vacancies. We also support charities and individuals through
board training.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the
promotion and sales of Boardmatch?s key services. The Administration
and Communications Assistant will be responsible for supporting the
ongoing management of Boardmatch?s CRM and providing office and
administrative support to the Boardmatch team.
The role is currently remote but will require 2 days per week in the
Dublin office when it is safe to do so.
REPORTING TO: Communications & Development Manager
OVERALL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
* Responsible for all administrative, office and support duties for
the Boardmatch office, board, and team.
* Manage Salesforce CRM database, maintaining data accuracy and
quality.
* Run data selections and produce reports to support the work of the
team.
* Provide support to the Leadership Development Programme Manager in
researching charities and updating information on the Salesforce CRM.
* Provide support to the Premium Search Manager and the
Communications Manager through research, reporting and analysis.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Strong team-player, able to work well in a small team and work on
own initiative
* Experience, understanding and appreciation for the Not-for-profit
sector
* A can-do, flexible approach is essential
* Strong ability to multi-task and prioritise
* Strong interpersonal and written and oral communications skills.
* Strong analytical skills and computer literacy, including previous
experience with a CRM system and highly proficient in Excel and Word.
* Experience of maintaining IT systems or CRM systems would be an
advantage
* Strong administrative experience essential
* Strong social media experience; LinkedIn and Twitter
* Ability to generate creative solutions and develop new systems for
working.
* Outstanding proven time management and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem solving
